• Process and Documentation
a. Create and maintain detailed test plans, test reports, and defect documentation.
b. Ensure all test activities are properly documented and meet the organization's standards.
• Collaboration
a. Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
b. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, if needed.
c. Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Tools and Environment
a. Use tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar for test management and defect tracking.
b. Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle.
• Quality Advocacy
a. Act as a quality advocate by promoting best practices in testing and code quality.
b. Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Core Competencies
o Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and processes.
o Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman).
o Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman or Swagger.
