Uma, alongside her colleague Savita Modak, has transformed their dream of creating proprietary IP-based products for the global market into a reality. Her specialties include deep diving into data journeys within organizations, launching new tech products that solve business issues, conducting data science and governance workshops, and relationship discovery visualization. Through continuous innovation and a focus on end-user needs, Ixsight has become a leader in providing risk mitigation, onboarding compliance, and fraud control solutions to the BFSI sector. The company was an early adopter of AI and natural language processing as critical components of their solutions. Today, Ixsight serves over 120 clients in India, including the National CKYC initiative and notable clients in the BFSI and e-commerce sectors. Their solutions process over 90 crore records across India, with more than a billion records passing through every second. Guided by the principle of being “built to last,” Uma’s leadership continues to make India proud in the technology product arena. She is also an active member of the NASSCOM SME Council, further contributing to the industry’s growth and innovation.
